Welcome to my site! I'm a Research Staff Member at the Institute for Defense Analyses. I also hold a Courtesy Professor appointment at the University of Florida Laboratory for Systems Medicine.
I consider myself a research data scientist: one part mathematician, one part data scientist, one part everything else.
I enjoy using and developing modeling paradigms for complex phenomona and data. Approaches I have employed have included PDE, ODE, and logical models, and more recently unsupervised (tensor and multi-view) decomposition methods coupled with supervised predictive algorithms for complex datasets. Phenomena studied have included tumor growth and development, immunotherapy and immune response, and programmed cell death.
